 Our firm was formed by first cousins Sam Dixon and Sanford Thompson. Our attorneys were born and reared in Eastern North Carolina. Mr. Dixon and Mr. Thompson both worked for large Raleigh law firms which represented insurance companies and major corporations. They gained solid legal skills working on all kinds of large, complex cases. However, they were not satisfied at how impersonal big law firms could be and they wanted to represent people, families and small businesses. Mr. Dixon moved home to Edenton in 1990, and Mr. Thompson went out on his own in 1992. |
